One of my employees was given 21 days quarantine as a precautionary measure for Covid-19 , although they are showing no symptoms , do I need to pay for this 21 days ?

If you are paying NIS contributions for this employee, and they have exhausted any sick leave you may have put in place for them, this can be processed as an NIS Claim. The employee will receive a payment for lost earnings during the period recognised as sick leave. Quarantine periods can be processed as sick leave once all supporting documentation is submitted with the claim.
