If you are paying NIS contributions for this employee, and they have exhausted any sick leave you may have put in place for them, this can be processed as an NIS Claim. The employee will receive a payment for lost earnings during the period recognised as sick leave. Quarantine periods can be processed as sick leave once all supporting documentation is submitted with the claim.
