Unreasonable extension of probation

Can your probation be extended due to you not being trained sufficiently (no fault of yours) as the person to train you is either always in a meeting or busy?

I would go HR and ask them for written justification for your extension of probation. You can respond them in writing that you request respectfully to be confirmed since your performance is not the issue. Remember this is where you have to work, so try to be as graceful and respectful in your dealings. Leave emotions at the door 🙂
