I came late for work and didn’t tell my boss that I was coming late, because my phone was not working and I couldn’t get a call , I came two hours late for work due to issues with my child when I got to work my boss paid me for what I worked for, for the week and told me don’t come back , even with my explanation, is this legal ?

You experienced what is a called an unjust termination. This is not in keeping with the law and good industrial relations practice. Now that it has happened… what do you do? First, find a union to represent your case. A good union will generally advise the need to meet with the company or to appeal your dismissal.
